Due to the popularity of our Hidecraft summer sessions, we are bringing them back on a Thursday morning. The sessions will be aimed at pre-schoolers aged 3 and above. The sessions include cooking, craft and play are are intended to help children with their knowledge and understanding of the world, whilst developing their creative side and communication skills. Themes and topics for first 4 sessions:
12th September- baking biscuits making faces- craft- sensory bin finding the body parts and matching the correct part to card.
19th September- baking- banana cake- craft, washing dolls dressing, putting nappies on them. Brushing their teeth.
26th September- baking- carrot cake- craft painting with vegetables
3rd October- baking apple crumble- craft- pretend play- diced vegetables/herbs water play bowls and making vegetable soup.

💲The Hideaway is a charity. It costs around £10 per visitor to keep the Hideaway running day to day, but we know that for some this is unaffordable and others no problem at all. When booking your tickets please give generously, and pay what you can afford. If you're a tax payer we can also add 25% to your donation by ticking the Gift Aid box at no extra charge to you! All attendees need a ticket. If you choose not to pay for your tickets through this booking site, you can choose to donate through our tap-to-give station once in the Hideaway too. Thank you for your support! We literally can't stay open without your generosity.
Attendee information
Please attend your session at the time slot you've booked. If you are more than 30 minutes late, we may release your space for walk-ins instead. Please cancel your ticket asap if you are unable to attend. Donations are non-refundable but can be transferred to another time slot more than 24 hours before your visit.
Please ensure all playing visitors have socks.
A large free car park is available on the doorstep of the Hideaway.
Please do not bring your own food or drink into the Hideaway. We don't have a picnic area and have a strict allergens policy. Our cafe serves a whole range of fresh food and can cater for most dietary requirements.
We do have free wi fi available and the coffee is great 😁
