Abseiling (/ˈæbseɪl/ or /ˈɑːpzaɪl/; from German abseilen, 'to rope down'), also known as rappelling (/ɹæˈpɛl/ or /ɹəˈpɛl/; from French rappeler, 'to recall' or 'to pull through'), is a controlled descent off a vertical drop, such as a rock face, using a rope.
Come and experience a fantastic 30 metre abseil in a beautiful, remote river valley location.
Before you have a go at the BIG abseil, you will have plenty of opportunity to build your skills and confidence during some practise in a friendly environment away from the big drops.
Following the abseil, when we are all stood back on terra firma, we will follow the course of the river back through a narrow gorge to the car park - a lot of the route is on ladders, planks and beams that are suspended above the river itself! You will be clipped into safety ropes wherever needed to make sure you don't get wet!
You should come away from the session buzzing, with a fantastic experience of abseiling and via ferrata in a stunning location, and some memories for life
