Join us for an afternoon of exploring the exciting world of open fire cooking.  Members of the team from Wild Things Scotland CIC will share some of their knowledge around the skills and techniques necessary for successful fire side cooking.

Over the afternoon we will look at;

• How to create a safe space
• Fire Lighting Techniques
• Equipment
• Technique and Fuel

And once our fires are lit and roaring we'll create a fireside feast to enjoy as a group. This will include;

• Main Course
• Condiment
• Desert
• Warm beverage

Cooking over an open fire can be a useful skill for outdoor lovers but on a deeper level it can help us to connect to the traditions of our ancient ancestors.  We hope to reignite some of that magic for the group at Loaningdale House this Autumn and look forward to hosting the group as part of the Biggar Little Festival.
