Take in the history of the Coniston Valley with its mining history and the challenge of reaching the top of The Old Man of Coniston. Also known as the Coniston Old Man is a 803m peak stickling out at the north of Coniston Water. With the help of one of our Mountain Leader you will walk past some of the Lake Districts oldest quarries and mines that were once the work place for many during the late Victorian era.

Requirements
We recommend this activity for ages 10 upwards.

A medium level of fitness is required for this activity. 

All under 18s must be supervised by a parent or guardian who is taking part in the activity.
