Guided Walk - An Archaeological Walk on Levisham Moor - Wednesday 17 July
Highlights
10.30am - 3.30pm
Join Heritage Volunteer Chris Hall and National Park Archaeologist Miles Johnson to explore the archaeology on Levisham Estate. We head out across open moorland to look at archaeological features such as the so-called ‘War Camp’ before looping round along West Side Brow. The return follows Dundale Griff and Levisham Beck to the village which we will look at.
Distance: 7.5 miles
Terrain notes: no stiles, rough terrain.
