Paddlesport Instructor is British Canoeing's entry level Instructing award for those who want to run introductory or taster sessions in stable craft on sheltered water. During this course you will have the opportunity to use a variety of boats and explore the use of games and activities to inspire, and look at running safe and enjoyable sessions.

Please note the prerequisites for booking onto this instructor course:

• Personal paddling skill in your chosen craft
• Be a member of British Canoeing ('full Home Nation membership')
• On your British Canoeing membership portal register that you wish to become a Paddlesport Instructor
• Attend a Foundation Safety & Rescue Training (FSRT) course (see our dates here)
• Minimum age 14
