Would you like to meet some of your garden bees close-up?  Have you been wondering just what is buzzing around your garden flowers?

Meet award-winning garden writer Jean Vernon and join her for a “Bee Safari” in the Nectar Gardens of Quince Honey Farm. You will be taken on a "walk and talk" tour where you will learn more about the fascinating lives of both familiar and unfamiliar bees that live, breed and breathe within the garden habitat. Jean will share stories about some of our quirky bee friends and introduce you to some real power plants for pollinators, inspiring you to transform your own plot into a pollinator paradise! This "Bee Safari" will explore the fascinating world and diversity of our garden bees, including solitary bees and bumblebees, reveal the secrets to supporting pollinators and introduce the what, how and why of creating your own pollinator paradise.

Jean has been fascinated by bees and the environment since a youngster and is passionate about championing bees and pollinators and wildlife of all sorts. She graduated with a degree in Botany from Nottingham University and is the author of the Best-Selling bee book “The Secret Lives of Garden Bees” (2020) and “Attracting Garden Pollinators” (2022).
