Highlights


Set in an ancient Welsh landscape, the park comprises 120 acres of outstanding natural beauty, offering woodlands and wetlands, and  a magnificent 35-acre freshwater lake, set in the tranquil heart of Flintshire.
Barista coffee, cakes and refreshments are available in our dog friendly Cafe.

This is a day ticket if you intend to swim you must have a tow float. (may be available to hire)
Not suitable for splash and play, do not enter the wildlife zone.
No powered boats, dinghies or Jet-skis are permitted anywhere on the lake. Use of anything other than Kayak or Paddle board must be authorised by Park in the Past Management.
You must bring your own equipment and life jackets/pfd.
Self launch Kayak, Canoe, Sup. NO DINGHIES. You must use a Life jacket whilst on our lake. ( May be available to hire)
We may be able to deliver you Kayak lakeside with our 4x4.
Not suitable for Family Splash and play.

 Requirements : YOU MUST HAVE AND USE A LIFE JACKET/PFD WHILST USING OUR LAKE. Lone use of the lake is not recommended.

Young persons aged UNDER 18 years are not permitted without an appropriate Adult someone over the age of 18 years (evidence of age may be requested) 12-17 year olds may use the lake under supervision and always in sight of parent/guardian. Under 12's must be accompanied while in Water. Upon arrival you must Sign in at Main office and confirm acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. at the main officeYou must be capable of self-rescue procedures such as self righting after capsize and experience of water similar to Park in the Past Lake is essential.A helmet is recommended and floatation device must be worn. You should be capable of self rescue when wearing a floatation device.Suitable clothing and provisions for cold conditions and water should be worn to reduce the risk of hypothermia due to immersion. Important information : Although every effort is made to ensure your safety, use of the Lake is at your own risk. There are no lifeguards or rescue boats are provided. The water is up to 30 metres deep in places and may be very cold depending on the prevailing condition and time of year. it is a Short entry into deep water. There may be submerged objects in the water. Lone use of the lake is not recommended.
