Our open water development retreat builds on your existing experience in open water and through our stroke technique coaching and educating on safe places and times to swim, we hope to provide you with more confidence in your own ability to push safely out of your comfort zone whether that's swimming longer distances or for more months of the year. You can try swimming in a wetsuit, using fins and have a go at snorkelling. Our swims vary in distance from 50m to 1k and always depend on weather conditions, the state of the tides and the varying abilities within the group. Where possible we will accommodate everyone's needs and ambitions. 

One of our activities is a day trip to Iona and local guide David takes us on a three hour tour of the island covering everything from where the nuns used to sit to discuss the day's activities to the number of teeth a limpet has! We enjoy a swim off one of Iona's stunning beaches where the waters are clear and emerald green.

There is also the option of yoga, massage, guided walks and wildlife tours. If weather conditions are good we can take a boat trip out to the Treshnish Isles for a swim in Fingal's Cave and spend a couple of hours enjoying the company of puffins on Lunga.
