Highlights
What better way to explore a beautiful part of the country. Get off the beaten track and enjoy the local area from a new perspective!
You'll spend around 4 hours on the Thames (Western!). It's a fantastic way to get to know the wonderful medium of water-travel - kayaking!
We'll stop for lunch on the riverside, and dig into a delicious picnic lunch.
Itinerary
Dave will meet you at Datchet Rail Station at 10 am. A short walk down to the riverside where a hot drink is waiting for you. After you have been shown paddling techniques and river rules, everyone gets into their kayaks.
Once on the river it is a gentle paddle downstream via the Old Windsor Lock to the Runnymede Pleasure Ground for lunch. After a lovely picnic lunch, everyone is back on the river to paddle via another lock to Truss Island.
When everyone is off the river, Dave will drive you back to the station or your car.
For the special occasion days or corporate we usually play games after lunch, but this is all down to your choices.
