Learn the skills you need to explore and experience Winter mountain walking in safety and confidence in the wild and beautiful Cairngorm mountains. Skills include walking on snow, use of an Ice Axe and Crampons and how to navigate in Winter conditions so that you can enjoy the freedom of being in the mountains.

Spend the day exploring the stunning white vast landscape of the caingorms and picking up new winter mountain skills. You'll cover another 15km in the snow and rough terrain whilst carrying your backpack with sleeping equipment which will weigh around 12kg.
Spend one hour digging your hole that you'll sleep in for the night, which will capture your body heat and enable you to sleep.
Cover another 15km, head back to civilisation, having practised key mountain skills and had an epic adventure doing so!
