Lamport Hall has teamed up with Silverstone Shooting School to produce a simulated game clay shooting day whilst enjoying the spectacular Northamptonshire countryside on a summer's day. The day will consist of simulated pheasant, partridge and duck shooting with experienced BASC registered coaches on hand to provide hints and tips, whether for the inexperienced shooter or to iron out bad habits. Please note, although a variety of experiences can be catered for, this isn't a novice shoot. If you would be interested in a novice shooting day, do get in touch as this may be something we can arrange separately. If you are not a certificate holder you will need to be accompanied by a coach at all times whilst shooting.
Price includes clays and gun hire (where required) but not cartridges, These can be brought with you or purchased from the School on the day. Be prepared for plenty of shooting with varied drives on the historic estate. BASC will also be on hand for those interested to advise on future use of steel shot including assessing your gun for suitability for moving away from lead shot.
Please bring your own hearing and eye protection if you have it although the School can provide equipment if not. We recommend that all shooters wear a hat or cap to protect from falling clays.
The day also includes a breakfast pastry and coffee to start the day, elevenses out in the field and a spectacular BBQ by award-winning chef Danny Tompkins whilst enjoying the sweeping views across the Brampton Valley Way. Bar also available.
