Highlights

This tour will focus on the prehistory of the Peak District. We will visit sites from the end of the last Ice Age to the Iron Age, taking in tombs, stone circles and hillforts.
Tours start in Buxton and have a maximum of 7 people We travel in comfort in our Mercedes Viano ā€‹ We visit some of the most iconic as well as lesser known archaeological sites of the Peak District Depending on the tour you choose, we explore the history and cultural heritage of the area taking in prehistoric sites such as henges and stone circles and more! You'll learn to see the past in the landscape at every turn! There is some walking to do, so wear stout shoes or boots We'll provide refreshments - a selection of teas, coffee, water and snacks. Lunch is not provided We stop for lunch at a local pub where you will be able to experience warm and welcoming Peak District hospitality (extra cost).
