Join us for a walk in the gloaming of a forest in Exmoor National Park. See the tallest tree in England and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest as night falls. Listen out for the mystical churring of the migratory nightjars and look out for deer and bats, a memorable and mystical evening. A short walk in the dusk of Exmoor forest and heathland. Enjoy looking out for nightjars, bats and deer in convivial company.

  • Drink a welcome drink whilst we collect together
  • Equipment We will provide some binoculars, but please also feel free to bring your own. Walking poles are also available, should you wish to borrow them.

    What you'll need

  • Warm Clothing It is a good idea to wear layers of warm clothing as it can be cold whilst we stand and watch and listen, even in the summer.
  • Waterproofs Good quality waterproofs are always useful, just to be on the safe side!
  • Drink Your own water bottle
  • Other Comfortable walking boots or shoes. A torch each and binoculars if you have them.
