Isles Of Scilly Sea Kayaking - 7 day Island Roaming Trip

  • Location Isles of Scilly
  • Price from £500.00

Have you ever wanted to go on a journey in a sea kayak? Carrying everything you need with you, travelling with the wind and weather, and exploring what comes along. Challenging yourself to live light? There is no better place to try this than the Isles of Scilly. We are always staying on campsites with hot showers and pubs near by.
With its crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and array of islands, it is the perfect sea kayaking playground.
It promises stunning views, varied wildlife and a peaceful atmosphere. Wake to the sound of the birds before packing your tent up and paddling off for chance encounters with puffins, seals or razorbills.
Just enjoy being guided or make the most of our experienced instructors and gain tuition as you go. Depending on the weather some of the crossings can present more of a challenge, therefore this trip is not suitable for complete beginners (beginners welcome on our other trips).
You must be able to do the following: • Paddle a sea kayak • Paddle 7 days in a row for an average of 4-6 hours a day depending on the weather and the group • Carry your kit from the beach to the campsite which may be up to a kilometre away • Travel light and either bivi under a tarp or sleep in a small tent • Have had some experience of paddling in either lumpy seas, windy conditions or moderate waters at times
If you are an active person and you spent a lot of time on the water doing other sports then your confidence and sea awareness may be good enough. The easiest way to find out if the trip is for you is to contact us to chat it through.
Group size is between 2-5, and we suggest an age of 16yrs and upwards, under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
COVID NOTE - We are planning this year's trips based on last summers Covid policies. We are only booking 5 clients per instructor to keep the groups to 6 people in accordance with government guidelines. If you have any questions about our Covid policies please contact us. Also please take the time to read the Covid restrictions for the Scillonian ferry and St Martin's campsite
