Bring your Christmas wishes to Poole's Cavern this December. Meet Santa in his favourite REAL grotto, and explore the beautifully illuminated natural cavern deep beneath the hills of Buxton.
This SEN Santa's Grotto visit is restricted to fewer visitors for a quieter and more accessible experience. There will be no music playing in the cavern and custodians in fancy dress will be on-hand throughout the cave.
ENTRY PRICES
Tickets are £20, including one SEN Entry & one FREE Carer with valid ID.  Infants under 12 months old are free. Slots are restricted to a maximum of 6 people, no more than 3 children per slot. 

All young people will receive an age appropriate present from Santa during their private audience with lots of opportunities to take photos in his magnificent grotto. After your Santa visit, you can then follow the cavern walk way to see the spectacular Poole's Cavern  formations illuminated for the festive season. The cavern visit takes around 30 minutes but you can follow the path at your own pace.

Santa's Grotto is fully accessible for buggy and wheelchair users, however further parts of the cavern have some steps and slopes. If you would like to explore via wheelchair beyond the steps, please email us at info@pooelscaver.co.uk to discuss. 

To aid us with your experience, upon booking, please provide a brief description of any additional needs. We will do our best to accommodate accordingly. 

Our cafe will be open for drinks, snacks and daily specials and the cavern gift shop has a range of rocks, minerals  and Peak District produce for Christmas gift ideas.
BEFORE YOU BOOK READ THE FOLLOWING

• The Temperature inside the cave is 7 degrees Celsius. Your Santa visit will take place underground in Poole's Cavern.
• Dogs apart from assistance dogs are not permitted in the cave on this experience.
• There are 28 steps in the cave, the largest flight being 11 steps.
• Please note this experience includes flashing lights.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By placing an order with Poole's Cavern, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

• Each booking will be given a timed entry to visit Santa. There is a maximum of 6 places for each booking.
• You must arrive 10 minutes before your entry time to validate your tickets at the visitor centre. You will be greeted by one of Santa's helpers who will show you to the grotto, which is inside Poole's Cavern itself.
• Poole's Cavern operate a strict No Refunds policy on unwanted tickets or late arrivals. We cannot guarantee entry to late arrivals due to our events usually selling out.

If you are unable to attend on your booked date, please inform us at least 48 hours before and we will endeavor to rebook you.
