Come and visit Lamport Hall’s Winter Woodland, home to Father Christmas and his Grotto for the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December 2023. 

Write a letter or draw a picture to Father Christmas, enjoy the woodland walk, learn about reindeer, engage in some festive activities, have a festive family photo on Santa’s sleigh, roast marshmallows on the fire, and visit the big man himself in his enchanted lodge. 

A 10 minute time slot will accommodate up to 5 children (2 minutes per child). All attendees will see Father Christmas privately, within their booking party. 

For example: Family A have 2 children, so they will spend 4 minutes privately with Father Christmas. Family B have 3 children, so they will spend 6 minutes in the grotto filling the first 10 minute timeslot.

Entry to the grotto includes a choice of gift which can be chosen from the Marshmallow hut afterwards.  Each booked timeslot includes entry for 2 adults, additional tickets can be purchased for friends and grandparents for £2 in the extra category. There will be a photo opportunity.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your designated timeslot, so children can write a letter, or draw a picture for Father Christmas before heading down to the woodland. 

Please note, this is an outdoor event and it is recommended wellies or suitable footwear is worn. The event will go ahead in all-weather if it is safe to do so, so dress appropriately. Unfortunately the paths around the woodland are uneven and can get very muddy, so may not be suitable for all prams/wheelchairs. 

Anyone entering the woodland must to stick to the designated paths and those who have purchased tickets to see Santa, will need to join a queue in the woodland. 

Access to the Woodland and Christmas Shopping Village can be purchased on the day, but does not include access to see Santa.
