This is a practical rigging course for SRT proficient cavers. This course is available over 1 or 2 days. The 1 day course will deal with simple straightforward simple rigging techniques - the 2 day option will look at more complex rigging using re belays, deviations and more advanced rigging techniques.

Itinerary

Day 1 Will begin with an experience checkout, some basic knot tying and some simple rigging in a none threatening environment for best learning practice. The pitches on Day 1 will be short, straight forward and will focus on the 'thinking and linking' principle to get some solid safe guiding principles embedded using both natural and drilled protection.
Day 2 is highly recommended to help consolidate learning and give participants the scope to safely rig in a diversity of venues. The training will be directed and organised by a current C.I.C award holder (Cave Instructor)
