A relaxed introduction to Melbury Vale Vineyard low intervention, aromatic, English wines, hosted by winemaker and owner Clare, explaining what to look for in a wine when writing wine tasting notes; and an opportunity to write your own tasting note using professional descriptors,  rounded off with a top-up glass of what you like most, whilst savouring delicious local Cheeses, selected to give you the full Dorset Experience!

Perched on Foots Hill, Melbury Vale Vineyard is a family-owned, rural business specialising in the production of wines, liqueurs, brandies and ciders. Built into the slope, the company's winery boasts a wildflower meadow roof, as well as rainwater harvesting to encourage sustainability. Comprising 28 acres of rolling hillside, the vineyard welcomes visitors, organises tours and invites wine aficionados to tasting sessions.


Arrive at the Vineyard at 11 a.m. on a Saturday morning (subject to availability, pre-booking is essential) Your event includes an introduction to the vineyard and winery, a range of Melbury Vale produced English wine tastings and a lighthearted look at look at how to write a professional wine tasting note; ending with a top-up glass of your choice, served with local Dorset Cheeses and accompaniments.
