Starting from Danby Lodge, join Botanist Claire Bending on a short walk to explore the local hedges, delving into the flora, fauna and history of these unique living structures. We will then return to Danby Lodge Café for a hot drink, a sweet treat and a chance to ask questions and test your hedgerow plant knowledge! Part of our This Diverse Landscape exhibition which you can visit in the Inspired by... gallery afterwards. 

Distance: 2 miles
Terrain notes: most of the walk will be along a tarmac lane, but there is a more uneven section along a bridleway. There are a couple of gentle gradients.
