Once you have mastered the basics on flat water you may be wanting to try your hand at paddling white water. This course is designed to make that introduction as you are led by a qualified BC coach on a journey down a stretch of the river Dart or Barle.
The course:
During the course, you will look at the equipment you may need for white water paddling, learn how to handle your boat on moving water, and be introduced to some basic rescue techniques. We do our best to tailor the course to your needs, and there will be plenty of time to practice and gain full confidence in all the newly taught skills.
