Vegetarian Food Tour Ghent

  • Location Ghent - We meet at the Jacob Van Artevelde statue at Vrijdagmarkt
  • Price from €75.00

Highlights

One of the first fully vegetarian restaurants in Ghent opened its doors in 1980.  Since then, the city can proudly crown itself as the vegetarian capital of Flanders. In general, the younger generation of Ghent eat less meat than before and many appreciate how good a meatless meal can be. They are also more conscious about the environment. Join us on a vegetarian discovery food tour. Not only do you get to know some of the history of the coolest and quirkiest place in Belgium, but you also discover famous landmarks such as the three medieval towers and popular quays Korenlei and Graslei to name a few, as you taste your way around the vegetarian food scene. Please note that 'vegetarian' means no meat or fish in this context, but there will still be dairy involved.
