 'The past 6,000 years - The archaeology of life in the wetlands of the Tralee / Lee Valley area''Tralee based archaeologist Laurence Dunne will present an overview of the settlement archaeology in the Tralee area from the arrival of the first farmers in the Early Neolithic period (new stone age six millennia ago) to the culverting of the rivers in Tralee Town in the 19th century. The presentation will consist of a talk and slide show followed by a short ecology walk in the Wetlands'.
