A 2-hour trip up to Fobney Lock and back, including Afternoon Tea.
Trips run on the last Sunday of the month at 2.30pm. Departing from Star Lane Wharf (behind Queen’s Road Car Park RG1 4AR) travelling through the Oracle, through County Lock and onward to Fobney lock where we turn and return to the town. The journey ends passing the Old Prison and the Abbey ruins. A chance to see Reading from a different perspective as well as discovering something of the role the river has played in the town’s history while enjoying your Cream Tea.
Matilda Too is a 12-seat narrowboat based in Reading. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor to the town, step aboard our narrowboat Matilda Too and enjoy a leisurely afternoon cruise, 

The trip will only run if there are at least 6 adult passengers. If there are less then individual refunds will be made.
