New for Summer 2024! Immerse yourself in nature, with our local and homemade picnic baskets launching this summer. Hire a generously packed hamper for your adventure with us. Treat yourselves to lunch with fizz & wander up to Solomon's Temple for lunch with a view. 

You can collect your picnic basket with choice of sandwich, packet of Pipers crisps, Buxton Trading Post sausage roll, cake, fruit, scone with jam & cream and bottle of water from our cafe during the allotted time ( 11:00-14:00). Equipped with picnic blanket, cutlery, plates & glasses, you can enjoy a home-made banquet of local produce in our 100 acre woodland & country park. Gluten Free, Vegetarian & Vegan options available. All baskets MUST be returned by 17:00 on the same day of rental. Picnic basket rental is subject to a refundable £75 deposit taken on the day of collection. Baskets MUST be returned un-damaged for a full refund. 

Alcoholic picnic baskets are also available, with prosecco an additional charge.

There is a strict NO REFUNDS policy for any cancellations, less than 48hrs notice. Please choose up to 2 sandwich choices for your booking. If you have chosen a GF, Veggie or Vegan Option but would like one member of the party to have a meat sandwich, please choose a meat option. 

 We ask you to enjoy our picnic baskets responsibly and to ensure you leave not trace other than footprints.
