Green Sketching workshop - Sunday 23 June

  • Location Danby Lodge National Park Centre
  • Price from £40.00

Highlights

10am - 12noon

Green Sketching is an accessible approach to sketching nature that combines the benefits of creativity, nature, wellbeing, and forging a nature connection. The emphasis is placed on the process of observing and sketching, not the artwork. It focuses on enjoying nature rather than learning about it, as it is about having an emotional connection to nature. Participants will leave with a small (A6) sketchbook, full of sample drawings from exercises, as well as knowledge and encouragement to start their own green sketching practice as a means to de-stressing, calming, reconnecting with nature, focusing on observation, and sketching in their own way.
