Highlights

Close Enough is an unaccompanied vocal quartet that burst on the scene in 2014. These four former Oxford Choral scholars perform a unique mix of classic barbershop numbers and close harmony arrangements from East European folk to Big Band standards.

Woody Allen (tenor), Thomas Eyre (lead), Tom Rogers (baritone) and Johnny Shipley (bass) have spent the last nine years singing their brand of light-hearted and lyrical songs across the green and pleasant parts of the UK, with performances at the Big Feastival, and the Burford, Bath and Buxton Festivals; in the latter, they won the 2022 award for best small ensemble. They also toured distilleries in Islay, but they’re a bit hazy about that. They have performed charity concerts from London’s Plaisterers' Hall to Belfast’s Stormont, and the fab four are thrilled to be back in Buxton to help another worthy cause, the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust.

If you missed them at last year's festivals or forgot to press record when they featured on Bargain Hunt, do not worry, you can get your tickets to watch them in the breathtaking grandeur of the Crescent's Assembly Rooms on Thursday 16th February.

Come and join us for a pre-show drink in the Pump Room, where we will be showing episodes of Bargain Hunt featuring the singers themselves!

Can't make it for 6pm? How about a post-show meet and greet with the quartet?
