About Wharf Distillery

An independent distillery in the heart of Northamptonshire In 2011 we started distilling apple brandy (using our award-winning cider) alongside the Grand Union canal. By 2017 the demand for spirits with provenance encouraged us to move to larger premises where we founded Wharf Distillery to focus solely on distilling to the very highest quality. As a grain-to-glass distillery many products we make start with base ingredients: barley for our whisky, and apples for our apple brandy. Carefully we ferment the liquor before distilling in our copper pot stills. Our range of spirits and liqueurs now extends to gin, vodka and rums, and our spirit drinks consistently win local, and national awards. In 2021 we moved our family-run distillery to the heart of the old market town of Towcester in South Northamptonshire. Our new location gives us the space to grow and continue our love of making the finest spirits. We take enormous pride in what we do and never cease to be humbled that people choose to enjoy the fruits of our labours.
