Visit Maidstone is the council's tourism section and creates and promotes events and experiences such as The Heart of Kent Walking Festival, Heritage Open Days and Maidstone LitFest. Many events are in partnership with other local organisations.

Cancellations/Refunds
All tickets can be cancelled by the customer if required. Free tickets can be cancelled by contacting us through the Beyonk ticketing system or contacting us on info@visitmaidstone.com.
For paid tickets, we strictly offer no refunds unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser. You can still cancel your ticket if you are unable to make the event based on your own circumstances however you will not receive a refund.
If the event is cancelled and not planned to be rescheduled, tickets will automatically be refunded to the original payment method used when purchasing the tickets. If the event is rescheduled, we may provide a time limit for refunds to be requested. If you do not request a refund within the specified period, we will be unable to refund you. Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the tickets and be made using the same method that was used to purchase the tickets.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. In such cases we will make all reasonable endeavours to notify customers of the change, as soon as we are made aware, but cannot guarantee all will be informed before the date of the event. It is the customer’s responsibility to respond in due course to agree to alternative action (e.g., refunds when events are rescheduled).
