About Withymead Nature Reserve

Withymead Nature Reserve itself is situated between Goring-on-Thames and South Stoke in Oxfordshire and is a hidden gem that appeals to naturalists, walkers, artists and families. It is one of three nature reserves owned and managed by Anne Carpmael Charitable Trust. At Withymead we have a real biodiverse environment for nature - flora and fauna. Visitors and those interested in the nature reserve range from scientists and nature researchers, to local community visitors as well as tourists to the area who love wildlife and nature, to photographers wanting to capture amazing wildlife or flora images, to corporates or local businesses wanting to hold a meeting in a more balanced and nature infused environment. The other two reserves are close by: Little Meadow Nature Reserve, a mile to the south of Goring on the River Thames, and Tara's Piece, also bordering the river, which lies a 50m to the south of Withymead.
