About CANOE AND KAYAK ADVENTURES

We are a Family run Business that have run Canoe and Kayak Adventures in and around Windsor for the last 10 years and enjoy being on the water and assisting others to get onto the water. We now hire out our canoes and kayaks and Sup Boards and pedal Boards for your enjoyment and to get you on to the river Thames. We also run certified training sessions to get you started on your paddle pathway all authorized by British Canoeing who we Partnership with. We also run Day trips and Camping trip on the river Thames and Corporate entertainment. The Backbone of the Company is our two Hour Guided Canoe Tours which are very popular and take in great views of the Windsor Castle.

WEATHER, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY 
Important information about your booking and the terms of any cancellation or rescheduling
 It can, and often does, rain In Windsor. As an outdoor activity provider that operates from April – October, we do continue to hold sessions in wet weather when it is safe to do so. This policy outlines our weather, cancellation and rescheduling policy which is strictly enforced and forms a part of our standard booking agreement. Canoe and Kayak Adventures Responsibilities We monitor the weather daily to actively ensure that we can operate under safe conditions. If the forecast is looking questionable, we will take a final decision 24 hours before any session start time, based on the Met Office forecast and the following criteria: • High probability for heavy rain (eg 90% chance of heavy rain during the session time) • Thunderstorms • Constant wind speeds >15mph • Wind gusts > 30 mph In cases where we deem it necessary to cancel a session, we will contact you by email and/or mobile to reschedule your session. If you are not able to provide a date to reschedule, you can contact us at any time during the season to rebook at another time. Refunds may be requested but the default position is to reschedule all bookings. Your Responsibilities By booking a session with us online (including use of gift vouchers) or by paying for a booking through online invoice you are indicating you have read and accept these terms. Rescheduling Period We allow bookings to be rescheduled for any reason with 72+ hours’ notice. You can manage your booking by emailing us and requesting a change in your scheduled date/time. After this time, all bookings are considered final and there is no rescheduling, however you may make requests to us in difficult circumstances. We do operate a waiting list and we are sometimes able to fill spaces with last minute availability, so if you are unable to attend and wish us to open the spaces to others please get in touch. If we do fill the spaces, we will issue you with a voucher code to rebook at another time but there is no guarantee that we will be able to fill the spaces. Contacting us for rescheduling If you need assistance rescheduling your booking, please e-mail us (rather than call) as we need the request in writing and we’re often able to make the necessary changes faster. If you wish us to try to fill your spaces with last minute availability please e-mail as we need the request in writing and we’re often able to make the necessary changes faster. Any other cancellations In the event of an enforced Government lockdown due to a pandemic on the date of your booking, Canoe and kayak Adventures reserves the right to provide you with a voucher code for use of the services on another date for when the lockdown has been lifted and We are all able to operate normally. If you experience any coronavirus symptoms please stay at home and e-mail us to rearrange your booking.
