About Peaks and Paddles

I have worked in the outdoor industry since leaving college in 1993. With a wealth of experience behind me from both working and travelling at home and abroad. Peaks and Paddles set up in 2011 to provide small groups, families and couples an adventure experience in the Peak District.

Booking Policy

We need at least two people minimum for the activity to go ahead - please ensure you are within the appropriate age catered for as there will be no activity or refund.. All participants to follow all safety instructions provided. A bit of rain does not stop play - however more extreme weather will ie. Abseiling - Lightning, hurricane winds / Canoeing - River too high, hurricane winds Caving - too much snow / ice. These are examples only. We will encourage you but never force you to take part, however refusal to abseil or go into the mine does not equal money back.
Failure to park does not equal money back - Abseiling and river trip parking is very hard for the afternoon - turn up early, have lunch go for a walk / cycle etc before hand.

By attending you agree you are clear of COvid19 symptoms and have not been told to self isolate over the past 14 days.

Vouchers booked via the Beyonk booking system have the following terms:

  • Valid for 12 months from purchase date
  • Vouchers redeemable online
  • Vouchers are single-use with no change given
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Vouchers are not refundable
  • Vouchers are not replaceable if lost or stolen.

Cancellation Policy

Custom Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 30 days before the activity is scheduled to start. Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed.
Cancelling last minute and rebooking will incur an additional £40 charge for any reason - covid / sick / broken ankle etc
Should Peaks and Paddles need to cancel for any reason - full refund or alternative date offered.
