Want a fun-filled day to spend with the family outdoors? Join me and explore the stunning scenery in Limestone Country with a challenge or two thrown in, a few interesting facts and plenty to discover!
We'll hunt out the hiding place featured in Harry Potter - The Deathly Hallows and journey through the best routes in the area and we'll try a few challenges (if you're brave enough!).
This day is perfect for 7 years and above. Depending on the capabilities of the group, we can amend the exact duration and distance to suit.
It really is an awesome family-friendly way to spend the day!

Itinerary

We will meet at a convenient time around 10.00am at the Visitor Centre in Malham - bring change for parking! From here our walk can take us in a variety of directions depending upon how far you wish to go, your schedule the ages of the participants and prevailing weather. We will visit Janets Foss, Gordale Scar, Malham Cove and possibly Malham Tarn along the way with additional challenges including scaling waterfalls, stepping stones and clint balancing along the way.
When you and your family is suitably adventured-out, we'll be ready to relax after feeling like you've had a great day out! There are plenty of family friendly pubs and cafes in the area.

Equipment Walking poles and rucksacks can be provided if needed

Food A picnic or packed lunch is ideal
Drink Enough for the day - a hot flask can be handy!
Other You will need suitable walking clothes (not jeans) sturdy footwear such as walking shoes/boots- trainers may be fine in the Summer months. A warm layer, waterproofs, hat, gloves and food and drink for the day and a rucksack to carry it in.Bring along a camera to get some awesome snaps of the family adventuring!

Cancellations

Custom Policy

Cancel before 31 days or more of your adventure and receive a 75% refund (minus payment processing fees).
Cancel within 30 days of the adventure with no refund.
Alternate dates may be able to be agreed at no additional cost, but this is not guaranteed.
