Setting off, you will carry a tarp and hammock to survive the darkness and solitude of the Lake District in Winter. We'll meet just outside Keswick, head off for a remote location and pitch in the early evening.
We'll have very nutritional rations, a very basic cook kit and the best sleeping bag you can get your hands on.
You won't forget this night anytime soon, getting away from "it all", you'll experience what it's like in the remote Cumbrian wilderness
Itinerary
We'll meet up, get introduced with each other and dump the cars!
We'll set off from Little Langdale, explore the area a little and head into the forest. After setting up camp we'll spend the night in what might well be the comfiest bed you'll ever sleep in hanging from a tree, don't worry, you'll be warm in a good sleeping bag! (Get in touch with your Guide, Chris, beforehand to chat about the best kit/bag to bring)
After the night we'll head back down, soak up the beautiful scenery of the Lakes and make our way back to the RV.
